Chia Seeds are a very high source of fibre and a vegetarian source of omega-3 polyunsaturated essential fatty acids. They are an antioxidant and an excellent source of magnesium. They are also high in calcium (over 7 times more than whole fat milk) and high in iron (twice as much as spinach). Colour is the only significant difference between white and black Chia.
